I was looking for some of my family that may have joined the Quaker movement. I did not find my surname in the book.My line of Genealogy, I can trace back to North Carolina into South Carolina and then to Alabama. I feel that my NC memberscame out of Virginia. I also believe that their parents were living in the northwestern part of Virginia.when three brothers ofthe family and one sister left Virginia for North Carolina. I believe that their parents were Thomas Richard Mauldin(g) Jr. andhis wife was Sarah Jackson. I don't have much information on them when they (he and his wife) left Orange County VA.forland that he owned in the western part of Virginia. I have had one individual tell me that he died just before the 1800 censusin NW part of Virginia. Another told me that he had died in North Carolina, but I seriously doubt that.
